Our Mission
CTI is an innovative research company, focusing on DGBL and technology solutions. Our mission is to enhance the overall education experience of students through the delivery of game-based interactive educational content as a homework supplement. Our initial target is Washington, D.C. public elementary schools, with a focus to align our content with everyday classroom curriculum.
CTI’s DGBL tool, Pi’s Kingdom, strives to provide the following three main benefits:
- Increase test and classroom performance, particularly in the percentile of lower performing students: Pi’s Kingdom is designed to encourage repeated play, increase critical thinking skills, and ultimately improve classroom and test performance by fostering an environment where students will play of their own volition. At the end of the second year, we will compare the results on the standardized tests between the group of students who played Pi’s Kingdom and the group of students who used traditional homework.
- Enable comprehensive and instantaneous feedback for all students: Pi’s Kingdom scores each student and provides instantaneous results on homework and concept training drills. Students can track their own performance, hone in on difficult areas, and drill specific topics. Furthermore, the games adjust in difficulty using our artificial intelligence algorithms to the student’s performance and accuracy, accounting for the natural pace of all learners.
- Reduce grading time for teachers and provide tailored reports for student performance analysis: Pi’s Kingdom provides performance logs regarding all aspects of the student’s learning process. Teachers have access to comprehensive reports for in-depth student performance analysis. Additionally, time spent on grading homework is reduced.
